W00t another step closer to getting my second character to 70. So i had a nice 3 or 4 hour grind fest in SoS today and got the 70% i needed to get to level 63. As much as i hated.. and i mean hated doing SoS on Ogrebears, it rather fun on Ratbear.
Maybe being a tank is just more stressful making sure no on take aggro, and if so have the emergency taunts read to take it back. Having the emergency abilities (taking damage for group, blocking damage from self when red).
My assassin it pretty much get behind mob and kill.. And i love even on heroic mobs being able to see 5-15% chunks of the mobs hp go away and know that me. And soloing compared to my guardian… is SO SO SO differnet. On my guardian its a slow fight (about 30 second) with 1/2 more than 1/2 my power being used tell the mob dies. ON the assassin…. 5-10 second tops, power isn’t an issue, it hp. But with good food and the totem for hp it dosn’t take long to get back to 100%.

Congratulations mate. Im yet to visit the dizzy heights of 63! Having got both my characters to 60. I like your thoughts on tanking. I am starting to wonder if I should re-roll now (and possibly take a 3rd character to 60! maybe 70)
I like to play the big beefy guy in massive armour…. but heres the thing. I find open tanking BORING. I like to see the big numbers and know that I am helping to take that big mob down.
Maybe this is how the Berserker rolls? I dont know as I havent really grouped in a mass group setting yet only a duo with my wife.
Hmmm I think ill continue this on my own blog.
