So there are now a quest (possibly more than one), and in instance (possibly more than one), that you can only get to if you have the LoN Loot card, card’s for…….

It’d be one thing if they just sold this on station cash, atleast it’d be like an adventure pack. But selling you a chance to play in game content is just wrong.
EQ1 is also having an issue with this: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/posts/list.m?topic_id=156129“. Threads are getting locked about it on the EQ1 forums too, just like the EQ2 forums the other day when the servers were down. I am really annoyed about this “don’t talk bad about SOE” policy they have on the forums. It’s perfectly ok to have a beef with the company and to speak your mind as long as it is not false.
Apparently there are some wedding zones in EQ1, too, that you have to pay for access. You know this is coming to EQ2, just when.
I’ve been mulling over just canceling for the past few weeks. I’ll wait to see what Kiara says when she responds, seems she’s planning to be able to talk about it tomorrow. I think it’s silly that they are trying all of this experimental stuff (Shard of Love being fluff zone and now this LoN zone card) right when three major mmo’s are coming out.
Wedding chapels I don’t have a problem with because only roleplayers would use it and its content that would not normally be created for the game otherwise. But quests and dungeons involving XP and loot (even if it only drops appearance armor like in the Shard of Love) is really crossing the line.
Looks like their pushing the envelope with this one. Trying to boost LoN heh! Cheap shot by Sony imho.
