The Harrowing is in the Fade, which give mage their power.
In this world, you meet a Mouse who tell you that you have to complete the zone fast or the mages of the Circle Tower will kill you. You get a weapon from defeating a ghost of a warrior.
You then meet a sloth daemon who will turn the mouse in to a bear to help you defaut the boss deamon of the zone.
When you get to the boss deamon you find out that the mouse/bear has been working with the deamon… And then you find out that the real deamon is the mouse/bear who disappears, and you are free, and officially a mage
