I know, I know, just under this post is a post of me from a few days ago saying I am quitting WoW. I am starting WoW again for a few reasons.
- I have one month more of game time. I have not resubscribed yet, I am going to make that decision a day or 2 before my game time ends.
- My first and only time through the game I played a priest. I really really really enjoyed the solo game, but when I got to grouping sucked because I just couldn’t keep the tank healed. It could be that I didn’t get how healing worked. From what everyone has told me Priest are not the best group healer druid are
So I am going to try again, using the time I have left on my account to play a druid. You can add me using my real if, (leave a comment and I’ll e-mail it to you).
So this time around I am playing a Worgen druid, so I am part of the alliance. Story wise I really like the Worgen start story.
You start off as a human in the city of Gilneas, and which is under attack from the Worgen of Shadowfang Keep. The city is being evacuated and your helping. At some point you’ll be in a basement with another human who turns in to a Worgen and bite you before it get shot and dies. Eventually the king and the civilians will leave the city and you will join those who have stayed at Light Dawn Cathedral to fight off the attackers. When it looks like you have the Worgen at bay you will become a worgen and kill your comrades. (Great cut scene).
The reason I quit playing WOW because if you weren’t a shaman,Druid or Pally you might as well not even bother.
If you throw $5 down on Rift at Game Stop, you get a beta access code on your receipt. If you pre-order the Collector’s Edition through Trion you also get beta access, you have to pay in full for this, but atleast you get a mount in beta.
I refuse to play beta’s, i just can’t play a game knowing that in X number of day i will have to start over. I’ll definitely try Rift when it comes out, but not while its in beta.
After all the smoke cleared from the messy “Head-Start” launch day where all the servers instaly filled and people were waiting in queues that were hours long… things got much better. Trion put up servers like Mad and I now call home to Regulos (PVP) Defiant. I got a small posse I’m guild hopping atm while looking for a place that suits us. After launch day, I havent been queued more then a minute.
