Games I’m looking forward to in Q4 of 2011

Games i am looking forward to in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2011. Yes we have made it to the end of 2011 and there are a lot of great games coming out. This time around we have just PC game (well i guess i would get call of Duty on the xbox)

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 — Nov 8 2011. I am not a big fan of shooter games (other than tf2). But i did enjoy the story of Modern Warfare 2, even if it only took 4 hours to complete. So i am tempted to pick this game up later when the price has dropped to 30 something.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim — Nov 11 2011. I loved oblivion, i’m pretty sure i am going to love this game as well. I am not preordering it though, i am going to wait until after it is released to buy it. From what people have told me this is a port from console to PC, and the last few game that i’ve seen ported from console to PC didn’t get ported well.

Star Wars: The Old Republic — Dec 31 2011 (currently listed on amazon as this). At this point, this game is the second coming of Christ, the Wow killer, the newest form of birth control hitting the streets, CRACK!!! This is probably the most existed I’ve been about an MMO since before Everquest 2 was released. So it been years since i’ve been this worked up. I’ve been watching Beta Cake for any little bit of new that they throw down to us.

Diablo III — Dec 31 2011 (currently list on amazon as this). I loved Diablo 2, so i am looking forward to Diablo III. I will again be waiting for the game to come out before i buy it.

Guild Wars 2 — Dec 31 2011 (Another game listed on amazon). I never played Guild Wars, i have a bunch of friends who loved it and will be playing this game. So i am tempted to pic it up, essentially if it does not have a subscription like the first guild wars.
