So today over at Eq2flames. LFG has posted that Scott Hartsman has given notice on his plan to leave everquest 2. Massively has also posted about this rumor as well.
I don’t know if this is true or not, but it dose feel like it is. The reason that it feels like it is the timing. The best time to leave a company is right after a product has shipped. Rise of Kunark launched 2 weeks ago. The Eq2 server are fuller than they have ever been. It pretty much the right time for anyone who want to leave to leave with out causing much of a panic.
If he is leaving, who will replace him? Scott pretty much turned everquest 2 from a game that has a very very bad launch to the game that it is today. Who ever replace scott has some dragon size shoes to fill.
