House of Commons Dev Log

EQII Stratics has there house of commons Dev log up here. I am not going to post the full thing here just a couple question i found important.

Venom - <Mins> any new information on guild house requirements? Like what it will take to buy them, status requirements, level, etc…
Ilucide - Best hint I can give is… start saving your money and status now! For more than that, you’ll need to pester Jindrack & Rothgar at Fan Faire! ;)
Gnobrin - And by pester, he means show them a good time.
Ilucide - Yes… that! * Ilucide throws Jindrack under the bus.

So a few weeks ago guild housing was mentions that it would be going in at the end of the summer. While this does not really reavle much about guild housing it dose look like they have an idea of how much status, and price of these things would cost.

Venom - <Pokk> Can we get any specifics on how the rumored VoIP chat system will function (that is… if it still in the works)
Rothgar - The voice chat system will be going out to the test server literally any day now. We want to encourage everyone to try it out on the test server and give us your feedback. It’s our goal to make this a very user-friendly feature that everyone will want to use. The voice quality is as good or better than anything else out there right now, and it integrates very tightly with the user interface.
Froech - Several of us sat through some internal testing today, and it’s really coming along great. I think you’ll be very happy with it when you see it on Test in the next several days.
Rothgar - *Rothgar does a little dance to entertain the crowd* * Ilucide lets Rothgar know about /me. * Rothgar is an IRC newb.
Gninja - My eyes!!!! * Gnobrin points at Froech
Kander - * I can sing!

So it looks like the voice chat that they have talked about for over a year is getting very close to launching as well.  Well have to see how it comapares to Teamspeak and Ventrilo. But this is exciting.

Venom - <Pokk> Is the map revamp in EQ2 still in the works?
Froech - Yes, we’re still working on the revamp of the map system. Like many things, what originally looked like a fairly simple process has turned into a long term project, but we’re seeing some pretty great progress on it, and I think you’ll be seeing the benefits before the end of the year.

I would love to see some of the map stuff!!! hehe
